Indy stair lifts for colonials, capes and triple-deckers
For some homeowners, a time comes when the staircase is a hurdle every time someone needs the second floor, the basement or the front door. A stair lift, also called a chair lift or stairlift, is a non-intrusive and economical way to solve it, with no changes to the structure of the house.
Nationwide Lifts of Massachusetts installs the compact Indy Pinnacle and the heavy duty Indy XL.
The Indy Pinnacle is a compact stair lift with a design suited to narrow stairways. It parks out of the way and can be called up or down when you need it.
When folded, it sits just 11 inches from the wall. The rail lies about six inches out, which leaves ample room for others on the stairs.
The Indy XL is a heavy duty stair lift that supports up to 600 pounds and accommodates a variety of body types.
Our own technicians install Indy stair lifts in homes around Boston, Worcester, the Merrimack Valley and southern New Hampshire. The rail is fixed to the stair treads, so walls and banisters are left alone, and a straight stair lift is usually fitted in a few hours.

The length of the staircase, the model and the options set the price. Our guide to stair lift cost in Massachusetts explains each factor.
